Hospital. The site is intended to be a one-stop shop for
reference information, announcements, and other resources
useful to the hospital community. From this site users can
access the contents of the Nursing Practice Manual
(accessible through the link on the left of this page
labeled "Nursing Practice Manual"), individual
unit practice manuals (accessible through the link on the
left labeled "Unit Practice Manuals"), the Hospital
Administrative, Infection Control, Dietary, and Lab Specimen
manuals (all accessible through the "Helpful Links" menu on
the right). Additionally, the "Helpful Links"
section has been updated and expanded recently to include
resources for medication use as well as POE and MAK. You may also find the
site index helpful
in locating items.
The content of this site continues to expand thanks to feedback received from users.

2011 Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing
|
 We are pleased to
announce that the University of Connecticut Health
Center was the official sponsor of the Hartford
regional event, which took place on May 5, 2011. Ten
nurses from the Health Center (six nurses from the main
campus of the Health Center and four nurses from
Correctional Managed Health Care) were honored at
this year's gala.
