CPR Training

CPR Class Schedule

About CPR Classes at John Dempsey Hospital

  • CPR classes are only available to John Dempsey Hospital employees who are direct care providers in which CPR is a requirement for their position.
  • Your confirmation will be emailed to you via your UConn Health Center email address whether you register using the online form or call 860-679-2002.
  • CPR classes are limited in size, so please register well ahead of time if you have a specific date in mind.
  • The location for all CPR classes is conference room C-2038.
  • After you take a CPR class, the cards are processed through Hartford Hospital. Please allow processing time, and then check for your card in the Nursing Staffing/Payroll Office, C-2037.
  • Please treat your CPR card like a driver's license - keep it in your wallet and try not to lose it!
  • If you lose your CPR card and need a replacement, please contact Hartford Hospital at 860-545-4158 - there is a $5.00 fee.
  • If you need a copy of your CPR card, please email cprreg@uchc.edu or leave a message at 860-679-2002 with the date you took your CPR class, your mail code and a reliable call-back number.

Two Ways to Register

1. Register by using the CPR Training Online Registration Form

OR

2. Call 860-679-2002 and leave the following information:

  • Your name (please spell it)
  • Your manager's name
  • Your unit or department
  • The date and time of your first choice class
  • A reliable call-back number (home or work)
