Nurses in the News

Chocolate Chip Cookies and Nursing Research

Nursing research influences our current and future professional practice. Through research we can discover new knowledge, evidence base best practice, shape health policy and impact and promote quality health outcomes.

Wednesday May 7, has been designated as UConn Nursing Research Day!

To celebrate Nursing in research we are looking to display any posters of completed or “in process” research conducted or evidenced base practice changes, or performance improvement projects implemented by UConn nurses and UConn nursing students. Come participate in our version of the “Great Cookie Experiment,” a research study of which chocolate chip cookie tastes the best. This will demonstrate the fun in research and the steps to follow when conducting nursing research at UConn.

When: Wednesday, May 7, 2014

Where: Keller Lobby

Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Poster Session: 2:00pm - 4:00pm

More Information:

To reserve your spot for poster display, contact Wendy Martinson at 860-679-4669 or wmartinson@uchc.edu.
